Alere Medical Named to Inc. 500 Three Years in a Row

Magazine’s prestigious Inc. 500 list of the fastest-growing private companies in the nation.

Alere was named to the Inc. 500 list for showing a 309.1% three-year growth rate, with 2005 revenue of $45.5 million, and was the only disease management company to be named to this year’s list. The company was also named to the prestigious list in 2004 and 2005.

The Inc. 500 ranks privately held companies according to year-over-year sales growth from 2002 to 2005. Inc. Magazine verifies all information using tax forms and audited financial statements from certified public accountants, and by conducting interviews with company officials.
